Our neighbourhood is considered the 10th most deprived area in the country. The impact of COVID, austerity and now cost of living has a huge impact on women from deprived neighbourhoods. Women from the inner city suffer more as they are subjected to poverty, discriminations and systematic inequalities for generations. BAME Women from deprived communities seem to suffer the most. Bantaba4change CIC is proud to serve as the catalyst for change.

As a social enterprise concerned about inequality and public health, we are enabling local women to become more confident, access opportunities and change their own narratives to lead more fulfilling lives and contribute to their local areas.
